The tale of Settin(G)Old,
a project carried out by The Salone del Mobile
Settin(G)Old came alive when design innovation met the real craftsmanship passion. A simple piece of furniture with great attention to details. This is the story of the project came into the world thanks to the agreement with the Studio 24 of Monica Gisondi.
Essential inspiration of the Settin(G)old concept, has been an ancient heirloom belonging to Monica.
A series of sketches, studies and concept board gave birth to the final project of a cupboard with unique details like the opening of the door without hinges and the use of copper.
The project for the Salone del Mobile was made with all the passion and experience of D’Ambruoso Arredamenti. 30 mm hot glued slats, veneered doors with olive wood, black walnut, ebony and rosewood, wood matched manually, snap-fit door opening, motion generated by a hidden stainless steel pin.
Settin(G)old created from an encounter between a strong creativity applied to spaces and a great passion for craftsmanship. The starting point for an innovative collection of decorative furnishings, available in different colors and for various uses.
